PARENTS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
On Friday morning, we will host our 2022 Homecoming school-wide mini-parade! FCS students are celebrating this special 50th year Homecoming with a campus-wide Road Trip-themed parade featuring mini-floats from grades pre-k3 through 8th grade and high school students riding “anything but a car.”
Family members interested in watching the parade in person are encouraged to be parked on campus by 7:45 am and may bring lawn chairs to watch from the parent viewing area (see map below).
PLEASE NOTE: The Holt Road entrance to the front of the Lower Elementary and High School will be closed during the parade. If you need to pick up or drop off your child from one of these buildings between 8:05-9:30 (or the conclusion of the parade), you will need to park and walk to the appropriate building. Access to the Middle School will be unaffected.
IN ADDITION:
1) The parade will be live-streamed on our Facebook page.
2) It will be divided into two sections: Elementary/Middle School (approx. 8:25) & High School (approx. 8:50). The PowderPuff game will be played on the turf field at the conclusion of the parade.
3) With the number of parents we are anticipating, it may become difficult to find a parking space. Please refer to the attached map for parking locations and designated overflow parking in the grass in front of the school. You may park in any open parking space but PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE UPPER DROP-OFF/PICK-UP LANES OR BEHIND THE SCHOOL (except for those needing a designated handicapped parking space).
4) Also, please refer to the same map below for a designated parent viewing area.
Thank you for your cooperation.
